This is a 3 day drop off class for 3 hours

Welcome to Kids Cook Real Food at Gut Check! This is where kids learn independence in the kitchen and the goal is ALWAYS to be ready to cook an entire meal on their own for the family. We’ll focus on knife skills, food prep, basic dining etiquette, and so much more. Please pay close attention to the age ranges before signing up. 

Food will NEVER contain any artificial ingredients…this is 100% REAL FOOD! :) Please contact us if there are any additional dietary restrictions that need to be accommodated.

This class meets daily over three sessions. July 15, 16, 17 from 11am-2pm. Ages 7-12 only please

Menu:

Day 1 - Instant Pot Chili, Honey Cornbread Muffins, Rainbow Fruit Kabobs, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls
Day 2 - Veggie Spring Rolls, Sushi Rice, Spiralized Cucumber/Mango Salad, Chocolate Peppermint Patties
Day 3 - Sourdough Pizzas, Meat/veggie Charcuterie, Dessert Charcuterie

 

* The only gluten containing menu item this week will be our homemade sourdough pizza crust which we’ll make on day 1 and will let ferment for 2 days
* This menu WILL contain eggs (cornbread muffins)
* This menu can easily be made dairy free for anyone that needs it
* This menu WILL NOT contain nuts or sesame

About your instructor: Stacey Maedge is the founder of Gut Check. She's a Navy veteran and a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and believer that food is medicine.
