In this class, you'll learn how to prepare a traditional, flavorful green salsa-based soup with hominy, seasonal vegetables, and homemade broth along with a blended creamy immune supportive soup. This class is great for sharpening up your knife skills and exploring seasonal soups. 

About your instructor: 

Sky Hanka is an integrative chef and culinary nutritionist with a deep passion for culinary education, nutrition, functional health, and empowering individuals on their wellness journeys. She holds an undergraduate degree in culinary arts from the Culinary Institute of America, a Master's degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health, and is a national board-certified health and wellness coach.

With over a decade of experience, Sky has developed a conscious, restorative, and functional approach to cooking and wellness. Her expertise has been honed through diverse roles, including working in farm-to-table restaurants, managing a cooking school, creating nutrition and culinary curricula, and volunteering with local farms.

Sky believes food is not just sustenance; it's medicine, community, energy, information, and a source of joy.
